greenwich park tree drawings
I haven't had a chance to draw the trees in Greenwich Park for AGES and they really missed me.
So Stuart and I went to the park and drew trees. I think this one's a hazel tree. This one's a sweet chestnut (thanks to bunn for identifying it!). It's pretty awesome. The drawing is not quite so awesome, I feel very out of practice. But I didn't really care, it was just good to be back.
Here's Stuart's drawing. I always find if very interesting, seeing how he works out things on paper.
If you've never been to Greenwich Park, it's one of the world's best museums of trees. Some of them are 500 or so years old and twisted and burled into the most amazing shapes.
Here's an a capella version of the Bastille song I can't get out of my head right now. Probably everyone's already heard of Bastille but I'm just getting into them.
