Dartmoor studio
I'm working away on a new Reeve & McIntyre project that I'm not allowed to disclose quite yet, but here's a peek at what my studiomate Philip Reeve has been getting up to, on the desk behind me:
And it's come out beautifully!
I'm temporarily sharing a studio with Philip while Stuart and I look for a home in the area. The studio doesn't have wifi, which in some ways is a pain - I can't instantly Google-Image-search something if I need a reference, and I have to go back home if I want to send files. But it's also great, I'm getting a lot more actual painting done. I used to check my email while I was waiting for something to scan, or I'd look up an image, and check Twitter while my browser window was open; very often get sidetracked for an hour or more. So I'm a bit behind on my emails now, but I'm all the more excited about the new project - I'll keep you posted when I'm allowed to talk about it!
