ugly bambi

This morning, I doodled a Bambi so terrible that I had to colour it in:

I’ve had a big stack of books next to my desk for ages that I was supposed to review for Write Away, so last night I made a stab at writing about The Great Paper Caper by Oliver Jeffers. I’m not sure my review’s very coherent, but it’s heart-felt, or something like that.

On Saturday, Stuart and I went up to Oxford to celebrate the un-wedding of Jenni jinty and Richard tortipede, whom I originally met at Oxford’s Caption comics festival. This photo makes me laugh, Richard looks like he’s about to slip Jenni a drugged chalice or something.
