it’s picnic time!

Hurrah, a perfect day for a comics lunch break! ellenlindner made lemon drizzle cake; Viviane Schwarz packed her super Rolls-Royce deluxe hamper (see her blog post); and Gary Northfield, Viv’s friend Alexia and I brought along bits and bobs to Peckham Rye Park to make for the ultimate picnic.

I brought some treats from my favourite bakery. Yummy, yummy, yummy. The only thing missing was a bottle of wine, because we were all being very virtuous and planning to go back to work afterward. Oh, and my sculptor friend Eddie Smith and his kid stumbled upon us in the park and got very confused, seeing us all out in daylight like that.
