I am so proud of my thatching girls (see earlier post). No. 14 led the way, vastly improving the appearance of Berlin’s once frumpy edifice. No. 23 is currently leading a team of her sisters who are toiling on London’s Gherkin. We’re all fond of the Gherkin, but we never felt it looked altogether finished.
edit: That’s supposed to be ‘die’ as in the German plural ‘dee’, not die as in ‘expire’. Of course I don’t want any of my family to come to harm.
