So it was nice to wake up to news of a lovely review of the DFC by 9-year-old \u003Cb>Molly Bruton\u003C/b> on the \u003Ca href=\"http://forbiddenplanet.co.uk/blog/?p=10344\">Forbidden Planet blog here\u003C/a>. She lists \u003Ca href=\"http://www.thedfc.co.uk/issues/26/vern-and-lettuce\">\u003Ci>Vern and Lettuce\u003C/i>\u003C/a> as one of her three 'favourite favourites':\\r\n\\r\n\u003Ci>\u003Cb>Why do you like Vern & Lettuce so much?\u003C/b>\\r\nThe characters are great. Fat sheep playing a Tuba and a bunny with lots of little bunnies following her around. Very funny. I love the colours of the artwork. And I love little things like the swirly dotty fleece on Vern and the patterns on Lettuce's dress.\u003C/i>\\r\n\\r\n\u003Cb>Tom Spurgeon\u003C/b> on the Comics Reporter also gives them \u003Ca href=\"http://www.comicsreporter.com/index.php/index/random_comics_news_story_round_up112708/\">a little plug here\u003C/a>.\\r\n\\r\nAnd a nice description from fellow DFC man \u003Ca href=\"http://eruditebaboon.livejournal.com/8961.html\">James Turner\u003C/a> (\u003Ca href=\"http://eruditebaboon.livejournal.com/\" class=\"lj-user\">eruditebaboon\u003C/a>): \u003Ci>Vern and Lettuce is absolutely the cutest strip in the comic and I love the colours - reading always makes me feel like I'm tucked up under a duvet, drinking hot chocolate.\u003C/i>\\r\n\\r\nHooray!
