I quite like how it came out!\\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/piccassoid_sam_philip-9f602130b1.jpg\">\\r\n\\r\nMy studio mate, \u003Ca href=\"http://www.whodunnknit.com/\">Deadly Knitshade\u003C/a>, left a comment about it, so I drew one of her, weeping over her knitting like Picasso's model Dora Maar. If you're looking for inspiration to draw something today, why not draw a portrait of yourself or a friend in the style of Picasso or one of the old masters? \\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/piccassoid_deadlyknitshade-3ecb5c1375.jpg\">\\r\n\\r\nOther news: my friend \u003Cb>David O'Connell\u003C/b> has just posted a fab comic strip (starring him and his dog, Treacle) which you can read in full \u003Ca href=\"http://scribblehound.com/?p=1431\">here... \u003C/a>\\r\n\\r\n\u003Ca href=\"http://scribblehound.com/?p=1431\">\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/david_oconnell_treaclecomic-a35543a3fb.jpg\">\u003C/a>\\r\n\\r\nWell now, here's an excuse to post photos of cute-as-a-button Treacle herself:\\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/dave_sarah_treacle-8fa1c9aad2.jpg\">\\r\n\\r\nDave's really storming right now, his third issue of \u003Ca href=\"http://inkpluspaper.com/\">ink+PAPER\u003C/a> (a full-colour comics magazine for grown-ups; I  have a strip in Issue 2) has just been listed by \u003Cb>Paul Gravett\u003C/b> in his \u003Ca href=\"http://paulgravett.com/index.php/articles/article/tls\">Best of 2012 review\u003C/a>. And his new kid-friendly illustrated chapter book \u003Ci>\u003Ca href=\"http://scribblehound.com/?p=1395\">Monster and Chips\u003C/i>\u003C/a> is lauching soon - \u003Cb>28 Feb\u003C/b> - and he's working hard on the following two books, all coming out with HarperCollins.
