This is actually the reverse side of the paper, but I loved the way it bled through, so I scanned that side instead. \\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/willpen_viv-f6ada80d16.jpg\">\\r\n\\r\nWe stopped by the Persepolis imports shop, where I'd previously mentioned to the owner that my friend Will was doing a comic about her shop. She sounded mildly interested, but it was only when she met him this time and saw \u003Ca href=\"http://chamonkee.livejournal.com/134584.html\">this drawing\u003C/a> and \u003Ca href=\"http://chamonkee.livejournal.com/134826.html\">this drawing\u003C/a> that she went totally electric and offered to host Will's book launch and heaped on him lots of Turkish delight and gave all of us 'I love Peckham' badges.\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/persepolis1-38d32cff0f.jpg\">\\r\n\u003C!--more More pics under the cut-->\\r\nHere's the shop, and a closeup of the window, which has a lovely pattern of tins and hookah pipes:\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/persepolis2-41bf75d01e.jpg\"> \\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/persepolis3-055ebeb37b.jpg\">\\r\n\\r\nHere's us ordering lunch at Cafe Spice on Rye Lane, a Nigerian restaurant ... way, way, too much lunch, but nice. Well, some of it was nice. I was a little experimental and after some thoughtful nibbling and scraping, decided maybe I wasn't so keen on tripe or calf's foot (too rubbery), but the curried goat and fish soup was tasty and kind of fun to scoop up with the yam paste.\\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/cafespice-8333c4e853.jpg\">","2009-06-07T21:53:00.000Z","peckham-walking-tour",[],"peckham walking tour",1776628732696]
