And may involve monsters.\\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/sarahsteve_monsters-95e8ffae1d.jpg\">\\r\n\\r\nLsat night a bunch of us went to Erika Moen's signing at Orbital Comics (she makes comics for adults), then \u003Ca hrf=\"http://www.littlewhitebird.com\">Ellen Lindner\u003C/a>, \u003Ca href=\"\\r\nhttp://www.comixinflux.com\">Stephen Betts\u003C/a> and I ate super-yummy dumplings in Chinatown and I had a lychee and green grass jelly crushed ice drink which was rather amazing. Here's a lady making dumplings in the front window.\\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/30dec10_3-7feac00db4.jpg\">\\r\n\\r\nWhile I was at Orbital, I was browsing their rack of indie comics and bought this comic, \u003Ci>Anais in Paris\u003C/i> by \u003Ca href=\"http://www.mardoucomics.com/\">Mardou\u003C/a> (based in St Louis, Missouri, and one of the \u003Ca href=\"http://www.whoresofmensa.com/\">WoM founders\u003C/a>, along with Ellen). Here are two of our best friends, Mags and Manoelle. (I lived with Mags in Moscow and we've spent several Christmases with them, including \u003Ca href=\"http://jabberworks.livejournal.com/261646.html\">this one in Namur\u003C/a> and \u003Ca href=\"http://jabberworks.livejournal.com/66425.html\">this one in Rugby\u003C/a>).
