Introducing \u003Ci>\u003Cb>Superkid\u003C/b>\u003C/i>, typed out neatly by \u003Ca href=\"http://www.clairefreedman.co.uk/\">Claire Freedman\u003C/a>, writer of the hugely popular \u003Ca href=\"http://www.clairefreedman.co.uk/\">\u003Ci>Aliens Love Underpants\u003C/i>\u003C/a>. \\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/superkid_cover_zps177ec9d9-195b154bf9.jpg\">\\r\n\\r\nThis book's been on the burner for absolutely \u003Ci>ages\u003C/i>; I signed on to do it right when I paired up with Scholastic, and then it got pushed forward so I could do the second Princess Spaghetti book before all the fans of \u003Ci>You Can't Eat a Princess!\u003C/i> had grown up. So Superkid's been in the back of my mind for a long time and it's great to see him finally getting to launch. I sometimes get asked to do comics workshops for kids and then discover the kids are slightly too young to make comics, so this will be a good picture book starter, to get their little feet in the door. You can see lots of clues on the cover to the wild adventure stuff packed inside. \\r\n\\r\nSecond bit of news: \u003Ca href=\"http://www.jabberworks.co.uk/vern-lettuce-book/\">\u003Ci>Vern and Lettuce\u003C/i>\u003C/a> and five other books in the \u003Ca href=\"http://www.davidficklingbooks.com/davidficklingbooks_dfclibrary.asp\">DFC Library\u003C/a> will come out in paperback this August!
