Here's my glam studio mate \u003Ca href=\"http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2019502594/whores-of-mensa-5-best-ever-issue\">Ellen Lindner\u003C/a> at the bus stop.\\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/ellencat-5b2b05b6c3.jpg\">\\r\n\\r\nI posted about the \u003Cb>HyperComics exhibition\u003C/b> \u003Ca href=\"http://jabberworks.livejournal.com/316583.html\">last week here, but I caught a lot of things this time that I missed on my first visit. \u003Ca href=\"http://www.barnabyrichards.co.uk/Barnaby_Richards/BARNABY.html\">Barnaby Richards\u003C/a> had trouble looking through the masks to see \u003Cb>Dave McKean\u003C/b>'s installations - our specs kept catching the edge of it - but if we took them off, we couldn't see anything. Oh, and I was just a punter - no table - that may have had something to do with it. The organiser and exhibition curator \u003Ca href=\"http://www.paulgravett.com\">Paul Gravett\u003C/a> was saying there was a chance this festival could become an annual thing, and I'm all for that! If you haven't seen the exhibition, be sure to pop along, and bring your kids to the \u003Ca href=\"http://www.pumphousegallery.org.uk/events/allevents/masked-adventures-comics\">HyperComics family workshop\u003C/a> I'm leading on \u003Cb>Sun, 19 Sept\u003C/b>. \\r\n\\r\nOh, and one more thing, the yeti meister \u003Ca href=\"http://www.mythical9th.com/\">Alex Milway\u003C/a> just sent me a link to this \u003Ca href=\"http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2010/08/russia_in_color_a_century_ago.html#photo23\">amazing historic Russian photos\u003C/a>.\\r\n\\r\nOn to Edinburgh! Packing copies of Warwick's book and Geraldine McCaughrean's \u003Ca href=\"http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pull-Out-Stops-Geraldine-McCaughrean/dp/0192789953\">\u003Ci>Pull Out all the Stops!\u003C/i>\u003C/a> in case I get any time to read on the train.
