There are \u003Cb>three amazing projects\u003C/b> in the works right now, all to do with stories and pictures and, well, the best things in life, really. They are:\\r\n\\r\n* London's \u003Ca href=\"http://www.houseofillustration.org.uk\">House of Illustration\u003C/a> \\r\n* \u003Ca href=\"http://www.storymuseum.org.uk/the-story-museum\">The Story Museum\u003C/a> in Oxford\\r\n* \u003Ca href=\"http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/pages/Chelmsford-United-Kingdom/Just-Imagine/160858473949007\">Just Imagine\u003C/a> centre in Chelmsford, Essex (opening on 15 Jan) \\r\n\\r\nHopefully the three projects, all linked through books and pictures but still entirely unique, will forge strong relationships and encourage each other onward to do great things. I'll be blogging a lot more about each of them, but Trustee \u003Ca href=\"http://www.houseofillustration.org.uk/about-us/who-are-we/\">Ardi Kolah\u003C/a> invited me to a gathering in St Pancras station last month, where we all got very excited about the project. Basically here's the scoop: British illustration legend \u003Cb>Quentin Blake\u003C/b> has donated his huge collection of drawings to start up a museum near St Pancras station dedicated specifically to illustration. They still need £6 million to finish rennovating the building, but they're already starting to \u003Ca href=\"http://www.houseofillustration.org.uk/news/\">muck in with events\u003C/a>, and this will create tremendous opportunities for exhibitions, workshops and more for both children and adults. \u003Ca href=\"http://www.houseofillustration.org.uk\">Read more about the museum on its website.\u003C/a> Exciting times!\\r\n\\r\nIf any of us are thinking of popping our clogs soon, let's leave provisions in our wills for all three projects, okay?
