I have a zillion other things I'm supposed to be doing right now, career wise, but this just feels like something I have to do, or it won't ever happen, and I'll have missed a chance I really needed to take.\\r\n\\r\nIt's become a long comic (72 pages so far) but I'm writing much the same as I did my little Berlin travel comic, page by page. I think it's usually much more sensible to write out an entire script, edit it, and then do the artwork. But I'm kind of doing this as a therapeutic exercise, and I don't really know what's going to happen, or what will turn up. It's painfully honest, and I'm not sure I'll ever even be able to print it, but I need to do it at least to sort out my own head.\\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2341/1936177808_4485e8c6ba_o.jpg\" />\\r\n\\r\nHere's a picture of my desk while I'm working on it. The little notebooks I used to buy at college are perfect, A5 size with a good surface. I'm working much more quickly than I would with loose sheets of paper because I don't need to measure out anything, I can just draw straight into the notebook. It's funny, sometimes I don't have any idea what I'm going to write next, but when I draw a little pencil rectangle around the page, it sort of pulls me into the book and I know exactly what I'm going to do, like it writes itself.","2007-11-09T18:25:00.000Z","headcase-comic",[],"headcase comic",1776628721372]
