But the thought of drawing \u003Ca href=\"http://www.rianhughes.com\">Rian Hughes\u003C/a> as a Dan Dare type character eating cake tickled my fancy and I had to turn it into a morning sketch. Our illustrations are almost polar opposites from each other's; Rian's are very slick and exacting about period design elements and mine are full of foibles and wobbles and a mishmash of styles.
