Look at all those copies of our new book \u003Ci>Monkey on a Plane\u003C/i>, with little matching Enrico monkey toys! \\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/emirates_blogday2_beanbags_zpshxc762xd-302d080946.jpg\">\\r\n\\r\n\u003Ca href=\"http://www.philip-reeve.com/blog/\">Philip Reeve\u003C/a> and I are very proud of the book, it came out well, beautifully printed. The kids pitched in, helping us come up with landmarks. \\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/emirates_blogday2_map_zpsmr86i6tq-b141f59013.jpg\">\\r\n\\r\nEveryone came away with books and goodies! Eileen Tao of the ET Speaks From Home blog showed me some fab sculptures she made by bending the pages of old books. Here's a \u003Ca href=\"http://etspeaksfromhome.co.uk/2015/01/book-folding-sheep.html\">Book Folding Sheep\u003C/a>, and check out the \u003Ca href=\"http://etspeaksfromhome.co.uk/2015/02/book-folding-peppa-pig.html\">Peppa Pig one's pretty awesome\u003C/a>, too. :) \\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/emirates_blogday2_eileen_zpsgksn2la9-7724bfaa0a.jpg\">\\r\n\\r\nAfter the event, families explored the flight-themed museum. The view was great, despite the grey skies and rain. \\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/emirates_blogday2_cablecar_zps3ol5eegt-cf1863d85b.jpg\">\\r\n\\r\nI should probably follow their lead and call it a 'flight', not a ride, but whatever it is, you can see lots of the building happening on the Greenwich Penninsula and the Isle of Dogs.
