Whoo hoo! I don't know much about it and I'm really glad to be going with some of my loveliest friends, \u003Ca href=\"http://ellenlindner.livejournal.com/\" class=\"lj-user\">ellenlindner\u003C/a>, \u003Ca href=\"http://www.comixinflux.com/\">Stephen Betts\u003C/a> and \u003Ca href=\"http://tozocomic.livejournal.com/\" class=\"lj-user\">tozocomic\u003C/a>. (Ellen and Stephen are an Angoulême romance couple, they met there on one of their many visits to the festival.) Ellen's blogged a bit more about it \u003Ca href=\"http://ellenlindner.livejournal.com/40215.html\">here\u003C/a>. And she's also announced that she's going to be moving into our studio, \u003Ca href=\"http://fleecestation.co.uk/\">The Fleece Station\u003C/a>. Hurrah!\\r\n\\r\nI managed to dash off this 1989 diary entry, which is rather fitting because I dashed it off fairly quickly in the original diary as well. I had to do lots of editing, in case any of the boys I mentioned visited my blog and saw their names. That would've been way too embarrassing. \\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/deardiary4-f887e93468.gif\">\\r\n\\r\nWe didn't even have dances, because the school thought that was far too intimate an activity for girls and boys, but if I had mentioned the actual school event, it might have given away too much.
