Great launch part lasts night at the Miller Pub, near London Bridge.\\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/undertow_ellen_lindner-1057580a81.jpg\">\\r\n\\r\nThis novel's been a long time coming, it's partly what got me inspired to explore comics again while I saw Ellen working on it when we were doing our illustration degree together. It's a great story set on Coney Island in the early 1960's, be sure to get a copy and if you can, have Ellen sign and draw in it for you. \u003Ca href=\"http://www.barnabyrichards.co.uk/Barnaby_Richards/BARNABY.html\">Barnaby Richards\u003C/a>, \u003Ca href=\"http://www.maartjeschalkx.com/\">Maartje Schalkx\u003C/a> and \u003Ca href=\"v\">Cooey the Pigeon\u003C/a> look on approvingly (second pic nicked from \u003Ca href=\"http://knitthepigeon.com/#/about/4553924449\">Lauren O'Farrell\u003C/a>).\\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/undertow2-8e7dd754f7.jpg\">\\r\n\\r\nNow I'm rushing around doing last-minute little jobbies before going tomorrow to the \u003Ca href=\"http://www.parismanga.fr/index.php?mact=News,cntnt01,detail,0&cntnt01articleid=206&cntnt01returnid=15\">Paris Manga & Sci-Fi Show\u003C/a> with \u003Ca href=\"http://www.parismanga.fr/index.php?mact=News,cntnt01,detail,0&cntnt01articleid=205&cntnt01returnid=15\">Emma Vieceli\u003C/a> (see \u003Ca href=\"http://jabberworks.livejournal.com/457636.html\">my last post about that\u003C/a>). I've been looking like an old sheepdog last night, but got that sorted out at the local barber (who usually only cuts men's hair, but Dennis did it for £12.50; beat that, Chelsea ladies!) Oh, and I never got around to buying new gloves, oops.
