Our publisher, Oxford University Press, offered a prize that one of the virtually visited bookshops would get a\u003Ci> real\u003C/i> in-person visit from Philip Reeve and me, and the winning bookshop was \u003Ca href=\"https://maxminervas.co.uk/\">Max Minerva's Marvellous Books\u003C/a> in Bristol! Our ace publicist Liz Scott booked it to coincide with Bookshop Day, when the 'Books Are My Bag' campaign would be encouraging everyone to get out to their local bookshop. \\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/1121095_original-1d2ce83390.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\">\\r\n\\r\nHere's Philip in front of the real-life bookshop (not the painted one)... it's so nice being able to do things for real again! \\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/1121357_original-dca5902cba.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\">\\r\n\\r\n\u003C!--more Click here for lots more photos under the cut!-->\\r\nFor our first day, we visited three schools and did events featuring our new book, \u003Ci>\u003Ca href=\"https://jabberworks.co.uk/kevin-vs-the-unicorns/\">Kevin vs the Unicorns\u003C/a>\u003C/i>, starting with \u003Ca href=\"https://www.redmaidshigh.co.uk/our-schools-junior.aspx\">Redmaids' High Junior School\u003C/a>: \\r\n\\r\n\u003Cimg src=\"https://images.jabberworks.co.uk/lj/1122704_original-7074549f52.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\">\\r\n\\r\nNext we visited \u003Ca href=\"https://www.elmleaschoolstrust.com/junior/welcome/\">Elmlea Junior School\u003C/a>.
