i have been sketching and sketching all day long for a book I’m doing with Oxford University Press and doing THE most nerdy on-location research ever. Hours and hours of people looking at me and smirking because they thought they knew what I was doing. It was highly amusing.

I’m not allowed to talk about the book, but I can tell you that I just got my first pair of shoes off Ebay. Yes, they are cheap and plasticky, but they are YELLOW. I am wearing them around the flat right now to see if the twinge is really because they don’t fit or because I’m too used to wearing man shoes.
