Okay, so today’s morning sketch is kind of random. I saw this picture of a Russian officer with fluffy epaulettes and thought, that’s what I’ll draw today. I should’ve made them even fluffier. …Feel free to challenge me with your drawing of the world’s fluffiest epaulettes.

I’m just at the tail end of finishing a picture book, lots of little odds and ends to complete. Hopefully I’ll be able to walk the artwork into the Scholastic offices today! Fingers crossed.
