I just came back from the SCBWI Illustrators Day in Newcastle, where I got to meet Jane Ray, An Vrombaut, Deborah Allwright and a lot of other cool book people. We did some practice storyboarding for the Edward Lear poem, so I thought I’d mess around a bit this evening with it. I just realised that the boat is supposed to be pea green, but I’ll do that next time round…
