New Mini Comic collaboration!

My friend Paul Carney and I have been working on a little booklet called The Rooks’ Tale. Paul is awfully good at drawing birds, and I think we had the idea while walking through Peckham Rye Park. I had some misadventures in screenprinting the cover on brown cardboard (and I now know not to use fonts with very fine lines!) But I hope it looks all right, with a look based on the design of old Rook card games. I think we’re going to photocopy the accordion pages onto nice white or cream paper and add red colour by hand.

So Paul drew all the birds and chess pieces, and I did all the little bits around them.
