Hello everybody,

I am blogging on this occasion as Sarah is busy catching up with her sister who arrived this morning from Seattle. I am not really used to blogging but here is a video of last year’s Tweed Run Bike Ride which you may find of interest. Entry for this year’s opens very shortly, not that I am taking part or anything. But I shall look forward to seeing it in a few weeks. My favourite route for cycling in London is to conquer the peaks of Lewisham, which are probably gentle little inclines really, but seem rather steep to me. Sometimes I am not always successful and have to get up and walk, but most of the time I make it and enjoy a little celebration at the top (well I have a drink of water.) I may even try it tomorrow. I am rather enjoying this blogging so will let you know how I get on.

Best wishes, Stuart

We walked up to the Royal Observatory on Tuesday, that was quite steep. Perhaps you could cycle in Greenwich? from Susannah (Gary’s sister)

Hi Susannah, yes the streets on both sides of Greenwich park which lead up to Blackheath are a bit steep. I’ll have to try cycling up those in the near future.

Sadly, the video is blocked to US viewers. No one outside the UK can know about bicycling in tweed, it seems.

Stuart, while you’re here, could you draw us a picture? Hello to the sisters!
