a taste of things to come

I have a new picture book I illustrated coming out next spring! Scholastic are really excited about it, it’s already selling in all these other countries and Elaine, the publisher, went to their big sales meeting dressed up in a princess costume while the designer and editor came dressed as very fetching looking aliens!

They let me keep some of the costume and so here I am, modeling it for you back in the studio:

I think I’m getting a little grizzly from monster picture book work, I might have to clean up a bit when I start talking princesses. Back to monsters for now. Monsters, grrrrrrrrr.
