Some sketches from the East End. I bought a mango lassi so I could sit in the outdoor chairs to draw the second picture, and didn’t realise the cafe had been closed for at least an hour! I think the waiter was too polite to kick me out, and he hung around until I’d finished drawing and sheepishly gave back my glass.
