Here’s a sketch I did today. I was looking at some interesting engravings by Eric Ravilious and Eric Gill (who was next to Ravilious in the library).

Here’s a card I made for my mother’s 60th. A bit overly influenced by Sara Fanelli possibly, but Mum’s not going to mind… I hope she doesn’t mind all the arms.

I thought I’d try some abstract foliage, but I think it looks possibly a bit too much like it could be a Pink Floyd album cover… Hmm. Not sure about this one.

This shows some of the fabulous Nigerian (and other African) prints that I often see on my local bus routes.

This one was a real stretch for me, but I like the way it came out. It’s roughly based on the houses in Spitalfields, near Brick Lane.

I thought I’d try the same thing with water. Can’t decide if it looks like waves, or like wee beastie’s stuck in a dishwasher.

I’m developing a (slightly sympathetic) baddie for a story, and thought I’d add some lettering.
